Various - Last 10 Months on Shuffleplay
The day started well, with Pam up to take her chemo at 6:30 and then again at 8 for a slice of toast and the rest of her medicine...
But she reported not feeling too great and went back to bed for a couple of hours...
I can't blame her as she's had little or no sleep for nearly a week now...
Also, as regards the steroids, it's simple to forget that, upon rising in the morning, it's 24 hours since the last dose and she is therefore at her lowest point...
Chum Debbie was due to come round about 10:30 for bacon and eggs but we had to postpone...
Anne and I organised some long distance insurance for my mum - rock'n'roll...
Eventually, Debbie was a very welcome mini jam donut bearing visitor around 12:30, with Pam once more up and about and feeling a bit better...
A good blether was undertaken...
Later on, Anne, Pam and I drove over to Boxmoor and took a walk around the park there, before watching the local cricket team...
Very relaxing...
Back home and, with a chicken in the oven, we enjoyed some of Pam's Tivo library in the shape of the film "Role Models" - very funny indeed...
Post chicken based tea, we watched "Page Eight", the recent BBC spy film starring the excellent Bill Nighy - and followed that up with "In the Loop" - Malcolm Tucker must be one of the funniest characters of recent years...
After this marathon, which blocked out the howling wind outside and thoughts of tomorrow's MRI scan and of Annie's departure back to Scotland, it was off to bed...
Highlight of the Day : Quality time...
