Up around 8 with Pam already in good spirits as her arm and hand were stronger again this morning...

Her speech is still affected though that too seemed to be slightly better today...

Off to the railway station at 10:30...

...and into London Euston...

....where we bade farewell to the Exec Producer...

...before she walked the 100 metres or so to King's Cross to catch a train back to Edinburgh...

Pam and I took considerably less time today than on Friday to make the short walk to the University College London Hospital...

Pam even found time to do a wee dance as we made our way under the busy road...

..and back out into what were very windy conditions (not shown)...

At the hospital, some waiting around was done...

...until it was time for her to undergo the MRI scan which will determine the source of her recent downturn...

A meeting thereafter with Jane the Nurse Practitioner established we will not know till later this week...

This is a very hard time indeed for Pam - I cannot believe her bravery in the face of what she's going through...

A walk back along to Euston...

...where we bought some sandwiches, fruit and juice enjoyed on the train - and already scoffed by the time these were taken...

Back in Hemel...

...a taxi took us home...

We settled in, with me phoning and sending e-mails to family and friends...

Pam promised not to do anything but watch TV while I nipped to Tesco for some vegetables and stuff...

...then made some soup for tonight's tea, incorporating stock and meat from yesterday's chicken...

It was pronounced very good indeed, with the remainder being earmarked for lunch tomorrow...

The lack of a stock cube (due to a forgetful chef) to compliment the real chicken stock, was solved by good old salt and pepper...

Anne meanwhile had made it home despite delays on the East Coast Line due to high winds and sister-in-law Jane had provided transportation for the trip out to Julia's to collect Meg the Black Cat (whose wee voice I was able to hear on the phone later on)...

While Pam enjoyed "Doc Martin", I mucked about on the net before she retired...

No early rise tomorrow as we received confirmation today that, despite what she thought, she doesn't actually have to take her anti-nausea and chemo drugs at 6:30 and 7 in the morning respectively...

So a well earned long lie for her tomorrow...

Highlight of the Day : Pam improving slightly again...
