Surprise lakeside jog...

Up a bit earler and a reviewing of "Spooks" due to snoozing last night from Pam...

Out to Tesco to buy a couple of Sea Bass Fillets for tonight...

"Downton Abbey" was up next...

Chum Debs tried her best to get Pam lined up with a different phone but no matter what, it just didn't seem to work out right...

Not to worry...

Just after two, we set off for Pam's chosen destination of the day, St Albans, parking near the Cathedral...

..and walking over to said rather large church...

Inside...

...we were given an hour long guided tour...

Very interesting indeed...

Three different types of architecture and a real live, or rather dead, shrine containing the actual shoulder blade of St Alban - you've got to have a relic...

Some nice artwork on hand too...

Refreshments were enjoyed...

...before we left the Cathedral and walked down to the nearby park and lake...

...where a picturesque walk was undertaken, during which this small dog with unfeasibly large stick was spotted...

...as were many entertaining birds...

...and a strange sight indeed - sister Pam (seen below walking at full speed) and her big brother running (rather slowly it must be said) for a few yards along the path...

We stopped for a breather at the far end of the lake...

Although we made it right round, our feat was put into perspective by these young boys who raced around it in under five minutes...

Not to worry...

We headed back up past the Cathedral...

...into the car and home...

This evening, the Sea Bass, potatoes, asparagus and broccoli based tea was prepared as successfully as a few nights ago...

...and scoffed prior to an entertaining visit from chum Julie and her sister Jayne...

The night was rounded off with "Doc Martin", "Corrie", "Eastie" and "Corrie"...

Highlight of the Day : Pam running by the lakeside - not that fast but actually running nonetheless...
