Leftover rain on the flowers this morning...

Resumed my reading of "The Rest is Noise" - a very big book...

To Fopp at lunchtime, where I happened upon Count Brodski swithering about several items...

Upstairs, I bought two Dexter Gordon discs, "The Tower of Power" and "More Power!", both of which stem from the same sessions in April 1969...

Against my better judgement but because it was recorded on my 10th birthday, 4th May 1969, I also took on Mr G's "LTD Live at the Left Bank" - the sound quality on this last leaves a little to be desired, although the the playing is enjoyable...

On the way home, a squirrel was spotted...

There has been no further scrabbling in our attic since that one incident - can't believe it's a week ago already...

In the evening, following a lovely chili from Anne and another Tivo'd "Glee", some listening...

Then, a live "CSI"...

Meanwhile Annie was pleased to find that Rangers had beaten Dundee Utd 2-0, thus guaranteeing Hearts will be third and in Europe next year, even if they lose their last two games...

Late on, more listening...

...and, generally, bringing stuff up to date...

Highlight of the Day : Bumping into Brodski / Annie's chilli...
