Roxy Music soundtracked the daylight hours today as I continued to read "Both Ends Burning", a biography of the band borrowed on Saturday from the library...

At 4:15 a call from Pam to say the Royal Free had called and she was to go in tonight...

By 4:30 a car was organised and chum Debbie was accompaniying Pam in a 6:30 departure from her home...

Enjoyed cooking with Annie to take my mind off things - the trusty Red Thai Chicken Curry - with extra chillis tonight...

While waiting for news, a Tivo's "premere of the second season" of "Glee" entertained...

Late on, a text from Debs advised Pam was in Ward 6 South again and was doing fine - bloods tonight and expectation her operation will be carried out tomorrow...

Highlight of the Day : Pam being attended to...

I wouldn't have thought you were a roxy music fan! Don't remember your glam rock incarnation at all!

Yes I was/am a big fan of Glam Rock. My home made charts from 1972-1974 testify to this, feauturing as they do Roxy, T Rex, Bowie, Alice Cooper, Gary Glitter, Mott the Hoople, Wizzard, ELO etc etc

I purchased all Roxy singles upon their release, including "Pyjamarama".

The first posters I put on my wall were of Gary Glitter and TRex!

Seem to remember you having the live LP "Remember Me This Way" by Gary Glitter?

Never did you any harm LOL

Indeed. Despite being a small child when I adored him, I seem to have escaped untouched by the hand of pervy gary. And my glitter boots have been packed away for some future fancy dress....or when glam rock next makes a comeback.
