Return of the king...

King Crimson – 2008 Setlist

Beethoven – Kreuzer Sonata

After yesterday’s doc visit, this morning it was off to the Royal Infirmary for what was supposed to be my last check up re the shoulder op last October...

The 75 minute trip from Crispycat Towers to the hospital was soundtracked by the 2008 setlist from King Crimson as reported on various websites – and cracking stuff it was too...

Here's a pic from bassist Tony Levin's site, the silhouette in the foreground is my favourite guitarist, Mr Robert Fripp...

Meanwhile, at the house of health, nothing ever goes to plan for me and there’s now a possibility of another op being required...

The specialist seemed surprised at the amount of pain still present and the difficulty of certain movements...

So it’s back in November...

It rained all day (after a night of rain) and was still pelting it down this evening, as I made my way to the weekly football game...

Once again, I was surprised to find myself on the winning side – after going a goal down we ended up running out 8-2 winners and (once again) your correspondent managed a goal – no use of the “breast” this week though – just some jinky footwork and the deftest of left footers trickling into an empty net...

I was absolutely soaked to the skin by the end of the game but, by the same token, I absolutely love playing in the rain – it’s my favourite football condition...

Back home Anne’s home made soup hit the spot...

Forgot to watch Alice Cooper on “T4 Transmission” despite having torn the programme details from this morning’s newspaper...

D’oh...

Highlight of the Day : Footballing in the rain...
