Oh dear...
Off to Musselburgh Races again today - in the still pouring rain - as a guest of one of the biggest companies in the world...
That didn't help me though...
Six races, six losing bets...
And I couldn't even partake fully of the free bar due to it being (a) a week night and (b) the fact that I'd wormed my way out of a promise to pick up sister Pam from the airport, leaving Anne on solo taxi duty...
£30 down the pan...
And an hour and twenty minute bus journey home...
Buses without a Jukebox for soundtracking would be totally unacceptable...
Still, at least I'm alive...
