Seeking art...

Playlist
Various - Holiday Hits
Craig Armstrong - World Trade Center OST

Off to Germany today for documenta 12 and to visit our friends Jorg and Yvonne and their three kids and a wee trip to the wine producing region that is the Mosel valley...

So - to Glasgow first and parked at Byre's Road as usual then went to Little Italy for a coffee...

...before going round the local record shops, FOPP, the second hand place in DeCourcey's Arcade of which I can never remember the name, and Oxfam...

My only purchase (from FOPP), Craig Armstrong's haunting music for Oliver Stone's 9/11 film, "World Trade Center"...

A light dinner in Oran Mor...

...and then off down the M77 to Prestwick Airport...

I read Richard Dawkin's excellent book, "The God Delusion" on the plane...

We landed around midnight, collected our hire car and made our way to a nearby hotel for our first night back in the Fatherland...

...the same one I stayed in five years ago with my old chum Mr Brodie and in 2003 and 2005 with Anne...

Highlight of the Day : Back in Germany
