Wednesday, but I'm writing this on Sunday night and so will no doubt struggle to recall what happened...

Well, at least the treated sky was good...

...and I picked a CD from the next box, No 125, Andrew Hill to Dave Holland...

I chose a compilation...

2CDs of music from one of my all time fave guitarists, Allan Holdsworth...

CD 1, guitar, CD2, synthaxe...

He is no longer with us...

But his music and, indeed, his influence, both live on in the world...

As noted yesterday, I also found the 3rd book bought at Stuttgart's Modern Art gallery...

...and our entry tickets, with, presumably, Anne's "Kunst" sticker attached, inside the front cover...

Tea tonight were tasty, non home-made kebabs, with salad...

Ah, I've already said they were tasty...

Work was also done at the machines - although I don't exactly recall what...

This morning, I re-collected together the tracks featured back in 2010, when Alice Cooper was on Desert Island Discs...

And I worked on the next CBQ LP due for release (5 June), "Dark"...

And found some Fra Lippo Lippi records which I did not know existed, and one which I seem to recall having had at some point but which now seems not to be in the collection....

And so it goes...

A day of sorting errors...

Up pre 7 and, generally, mucking about on stuff...

...yep, just over 24 hours later, I have no idea what I was doing...

I do recall though, I was looking back...

It's 10 years since I got this "Kunst" (Art) sticker at the Kunstmuseum in Stuttgart...

I found two of the three books I bought that day, as shown in the photo behind them...

Tomorrow morning, after a re-look, I will find the third, complete with museum tickets and another sticker - plus the receipt - 19 Euros spent on the books...

News from brother in law Keith - he will have some skin cancer removed from his ear on Thursday...

Accordingly, I fetched my hat...

All this pre an egg-based breakfast...

...accompanied by some (annoying to the Exec Producer) improvisation, in part...

It was Tuesday - it seemed like a Sunday...

Was going to go out but knew I'd just return with more annoying to the Exec Producer CDs, so, I stayed in and, over two sessions, spent over 5 hours sorting 21 songs from Sunday's session...

...no doubt the errors the boys will all have spotted on the recordings I posted up on Sunday night...

Half of them needed the song to be split into stems to get into the gubbins and allow the work to be completed.  But they are now ready to play along to, hopefully without any huge obvious errors in the mixes...

Meanwhile, pasta from Annie - yum!

...and wine...

Another "Black List" then, Arsenal v Atletico Madrid - we were supporting the Spaniards of course - far too many English teams get into Europe each year - even though Arsenal has been "one of my teams" since 1971...

In Dumfries, Queens scraped a 1-1 draw with a 92nd minute goal in the first leg of the Play Off Semi Final against Stenhousemuir...

That was despite having had 72% of the possession and loads more shots on goal...

T'was ever thus...

Next leg is Saturday...

Later the chocolate was opened...

It was finished off as I wrote this tomorrow...

New music today was mainly new things in the DropBox from Willie...

Plus previously missed Goose remixes...

And today's work...

Up late on my birthday...

Huge playlist today re music I bought when I was 17, as opposed to 67 - plus the podcast...

Cards awaited...

...and were soon revealed along with cash, Weissbier and chocolate -  a good start to the birthday...

...which continued as we drove over to Newhaven and The Haven...

...for a birthday breakfast....

...in good surroundings...

Lovely coffees...

...eggy bread (aka French Toast), with bacon and maple syrup for me...

...eggs on smashed avocado and sourdough toast for the lady....

...and out - I do love this old flour mill...

Along to Ocean Terminal and into HMV in the hope of maybe finding a birthday treat but, to no avail...

I have this already...

And so, home...

TV enjoyed, the end of "The Murder Mile" - ultimately, yes, enjoyable, but, a little disappointing...

An idea that the band ought to distribute our canon to the crowd at gigs and ask for requests, to engage them more...

Reasonable...

A good concert season to have been at, had I had the chance...

...although I was only 11 at the time and had little interest in music and, most likely, none in funky jazz...

Anne had left at 4:30 for tonight's crunch game at Tynecastle, Hearts v Scotland's Newest Club...

Losing 1-0 at half time, the JTs came roaring back in the second half to go 2-1 up and hold on re a few hairy moments to go 7 points clear of tonight's opponents and 3 ahead of Celtic, with 3 games to go...

People are starting to believe they might just win the league...

I was doing stuff at the computer as I watched the minutes tick away, including 7 of injury time...

I'm surprised I didn't hear the noise of the crowd at full time, in my room...

Podcast done and dusted and uploaded - this week, in honour of the birthday, featuring 10 singles from 4th of May charts from 1970-79 and 10 albums from 4th of May charts from 1970-79...

Hence, rather a bit longer than usual but who cares?

On Anne's return, another cake, this time, on the correct day...

...a couple of "The Black List" and, then, the highlights of the match, watched with much glee...

Full disclosure, I was a long time supporter of Glasgow Rangers but moved to Queen of the South in the 90's and gave up on GR completely when their cheating was uncovered in 2010-12, causing them to go down the pan - their supporters and the media maintain the current club is the same club but it is not...

This ongoing denial of reality just makes me hate them more...

These days, I support Celtic in those Glasgow derbies - unthought of back in the day - and despise the new team with a vengeance, so, today was a very good day and that was quite the birthday present from Hearts...

Bed at midnight...
