Reasonable skies...

..and, once this was sorted out...

..this was set free into the world and was surprisingly successful...

Soundtracked this morning by a playlist of the ten most streamed CBQ tracks on Bandcamp in January...

Anne was off to Zumba and, around 11, after some WFH, I was off to listen to some people talk about the world...

Gave my "Disquietsongs" LP a listen on the way...

I'd forgotten how good it is, if I say so myself!

Anyway, yes, chat about the word and, erm, rugby...

Not to worry...

Soaked as I exited due to wind, rain and snow...

And then, so typical, this...

Back home, the squirrel had once again defeated the coconut...

This evening, some music listening to a couple of nice jazz CDs, picked up in Glasgow in October - accompanied by a new hat...

This apple interested me with its strange skin...

OK, that's enough pictures of an apple...

In the final analysis, it looked much better than it tasted...

Is it possible to have too many headphones?

I took out the LPs featured yesterday re oldest prog and took the pics posted in yesterday's entry...

My top 5 for 2003, today, ended up as these...

...and I hit the sack with my entire Alice Cooper discography in the cans on shuffle...

And so, Cooper to Cooper throughout the day...

Highlight of the Day : Successful new LP...

Granola...

After almost two years, the EPs WFH equipment finally exited the house this morning...

She will now work one day per week but not from home...

And so, this...

Meanwhile I continue to WFH, this...

Later today, final prep for the release tomorrow of the first of four volumes of variations on Lou reed's "Metal Machine Music"...

Also today, a 40 minute interview by the Scottish Daily Mail re my music collection...

Let's see how that turns out...

TV tonight comprised an episode of "Task Master" and an enjoyable Ricky Gervais film from a couple of years back, "Special Correspondents"...

And, finally, today, someone asked on Twitter "what's the prog rock LP you've listened to the most?"

I consulted my list of LPs I bought back in the 70's and, initially, put together a list of  the first 50 kind of prog LPs I acquired (which soundtracked most of the day) - then I honed that down to these 20, shown here in order of purchase (the first in early 1973)...

...and, of which, I still have these nine as records...

Ok that'll do...

No, wait, 2003 was reduced to these 10...

OK, that'll do...

Highlight of the Day : Seeing the dining room table...

Up, comparatively, late...

Not the best day ever.  Some considerable time spent listening to CDs while WFH, or at least, trying to WFH - as the system kept crashing...

As regards the music on the hard drives, I finally had to uninstall and then reinstall iTunes...

Very happy indeed that my library was not wiped...

This evening, commenced the upload of the next CBQ LP, the first volume of my variation's on Lou Reed's "Metal Machine Music", recorded some eleven weeks ago now...

Volume two is also on the can, with three and four to be finalised...

Some people seem to be looking forward to it...

Which is good...

Also today, an e-mail from a journalist from the Daily Mail, wanting to interview me about me seemingly very large music collection, having stumbled across it on Twitter...

Meanwhile, Fang was in for most of the afternoon and evening...

What was for tea, Dave?

I know this doesn't look too appetising but it's actually a very tasty indeed fish pie with peas and corn...

After a couple of episodes of a new French thing we're watching, "A Very Secret Service" ("Au Service de la France"), I popped back upstairs and recorded twenty minutes of the weekend's podcast before then watching "The Bay" - post which, another hour of the podcast was "laid down, man"...

Then it was time for me to try and get this wee sleeping monkey out of the house so that we could get to bed...

Unlike a couple of days ago, I managed it without being slashed to bits...

Off he went into the night...

And off we went to bed...

Highlight of the Day : Reinstall of iTunes worked...

Good skies...

Kept this up to date and recorded scenes...

Breakfast eggs...

Anne was off to have her ears looked at again (turns out it needs one more appointment) and then, a shopping trip with Lynn to Livingston, celebrating the first real day of the new regime...

Meanwhile, I too, was out and, indeed, about...

...with "Variations on Lou Reed's "Metal Machine Music" Vol II" on the cans...

I still need to create Vols III & IV..

W but not FH...

A nice lunch with Kris with a K to discuss "the future"...

W not FH continued, then, a bus home, accompanied by "Sparklemusik" and in around 6...

My LPs of 2003 were further whittled to the top 20...

Home made soup for teas then monitoring Hibs v Hearts (0-0 but the JTs ought to have had at least one penalty), and Raith Rovers v Queen of the South - down 2-0 after 13 mins but pulled one back in 18, equalised in 48, saved a penalty in 50, went behind again in 83, equalised again with a 30 yard volley in 85 and held on for a 3-3 draw - but, really, they ought to have won - and this kind of sums up Queens' season so far...

They seem doomed to relegation...

"Holby City" entertained and then we frittered the rest of the evening away, soundtracked by me, Matt Berry, Kurgans Män, Hannah Peel and Tangerine Dream and watching the highlights of Hibs v Hearts and "Newsnight"...

That was it...

To bed with Jean-Luc Ponty...
