The day started with me showing off some big classical box sets on The Twitter - as you do...

Out around 8:30 and a walk to Helen the Podiatrist's place for foot attention...

A nice morning..

The beast was too late in leaving and had to get a bus part of the way in order to be on time...

Made it...

Back home around 10:15...

...and a tasty omelette for breakfast...

The day was spent mucking about at the computer for the most part, surprise surprise...

This included recording and uploading this week's podcast...

I had two possible line ups...

This...

...and this...

...and went for the more obscure of the two...

It is, after all, supposed to be "eclectic"...

Wrote and recorded some new lyrics over one of the three recent Creek backing tracks supplied by Creeker Craig...

Did a quick mix and uploaded the stems and rough mix to the One Drive...

He was delighted...

Obviously more work is needed on this new song, entitled "No Last Tilt"...

It is, of course, the usual depressing CBQ fayre...

Meanwhile Anne was working away too, creating a fabulously tasty and healthy chicken curry...

As ever, yumtastic...

Late on, a visit from Fang the Black Cat who, due to his recent pishing on the inside of the front door antics, is no longer allowed inside and had to enjoy his goodies out on the window ledge...

Off he popped...

As did we, post this week's top notch "Killing Eve"...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Working on a new song...

Lunching and organising...

Friday!!

And, for the second day running, soup and arabiatta for your correspondent, at Quattro, this time with the Exec Producer - who enjoyed pate and risotto verde...

This evening, a couple of hours was spent, finally reinstating the upper wall of classical CDs, getting them, much to the EP's delight, off the floor and returning the various boxes to the attic...

The above and below show the Single Composer A-Z section being added, row by row...

Then, came the Single Artist A-Z...

...whose further row and a half or so, took me to here...

...meaning no room left for Multiple Artist/Multiple Composer collections (filed A-Z by title)...

Getting back to "normal" - if having so many CDs can be deemed as such...

Another healthy tea tonight, sea bass with potatoes and peas...

Some telly, some music listening and off to bed...

Highlight of the Day : Lunch with the EP...

Happy and Doug back and forth...

This small robin is a regular at the station...

It appears to have lost its tail somehow...

...but continues to thrive...

A new badly pictured visitor was a woodpecker - seen here in the distance on a neighbour's tree...

...which was exciting...

Lunch today at Quattro Zero with Brother in Law Bob - penne arabiatta preceded by minestrone soup for me, tomato and mozzarella salad followed by risotto verdi for Bob...

Yum...

We both hoped nephew Olly would not return tonight from his Greek holiday (with 59 schoolmates!!), with a tattoo...

(He did not...)

In the evening, this lady, with her personalised numberplate of CAL 7M, was seen texting whilst driving...

In general, I find those who waste money on personalised number plates always seem to have an overinflated sense of entitlement...

The first take on "Doug McLure" arrived from Craig - promising...

And a third take on "Happy"...

Meanwhile, I uploaded "Break the Ice Around Us" for him to take a shot at...

The project is progressing nicely...

...as is my striving to be healthy...

Finally, an accidental pic of a radiator is always a good way to end a post....

Highlight of the Day : Losing...

Doing things I don't quite understand can still be good for me...

Updating the big red books of CDs I own...

All these added since heading to Deutschland on 12 June...

..including this, today, from the BHF shop, new and sealed for £3...

...purchased post taking mum's hearing aids to Boots at the Gyle, which required a return journey by tram...

It seems the fault was something which could/should have been foreseen and was fixed on the spot in less than a minute, for free...

In the evening, super chili from the EP...

Apparently eating such tasty delights can still be healthy (that's yoghurt by the way)...

Last Saturday's podcast (recorded last Saturday just after the previous week late Saturday's) was uploaded...

A further version of "Happy is the Way" arrived from Craig - just testing that he now has the chord sequences right - I was happy to confirm that to be the case...

I uploaded stems and track for "Underground Like Doug McLure" - let's see what he can do with that...

Highlight of the Day : It'll be that chili of course...

A bag of provisions...

This morning, I popped to Sainsbury's and, for £8, bought enough stupid tins to keep me going for quite some time with various combinations of healthy Tuna, Baked Beans, Mushy Peas and Boiled Potatoes...

Potatoes and peas for lunch...

The peas are tastier than the potatoes...

Soon we will be getting this wee monkey, Luna, while her owners are away...

Which will be good...

Other than that, we must have watched some TV...

Soundtrack today was mostly LPs I owned in the 70;'s...

As you do...
