Up stupidly early but couldn't sleep...

While I was doing some further fixes on the acoustic set with JB, a wee spider settled down on the shelf...

Brought this up to date - apart from the text for nearly two weeks now - uh oh...

Breakfast with Anne, FFWDing through the Strictly results - Toyah out...

At 9 a call to the Nationwide re my mum's "missing" ISA - they asked that I visit the branch, so, post breakfast, I made my way down - no luck - they know it was transferred but, for some reason, are unable to tell me to where...

Complaint ahoy...

While waiting for Anne to come down the hill, I somehow found myself in the Cancer Hospice shop and partook of this, for £2.50...

Bargain...

Especially as, when I checked later, I previously had zero Mozart on Naxos (although, of course I do have plenty of Mozart)...

Anyway, over to Sainsbury for the shopping and to have my new specs slightly loosened...

Home...

And out the front...

Anne doing a repair on the canopy (your correspondent held the ladder)...

...apart from when he was taking pics from further away...

This wee monkey was on the path....

Fell asleep during "Sister Boniface" which accompanied lunch...

More work re my mum and Anne's mum during the afternoon...

Late afternoon, Anne went off to visit Mary and then on to Pilates...

More work trying to sort insurance on my mum's house...

And more stuff re Mary...

Ripping and listening re the Mozart bargain...

By the time Anne got back, with all the "work" it was time to crack open a bottle of Prosecco which has been in the fridge for a while...

...to accompany the baked potatoes...

Just 100 on "University Challenge"...

Fell asleep listening to music, with my fourth glass untouched in front of me, while Anne caught up with "Coronation Street"...

And so, off to bed at 10pm and asleep within minutes...

Highlight of the Day : Probably the Mozart - and the Prosecco, before I fell asleep...

Today's New Music:-
