Morning Wednesday morning...

Yesterday, following a conversation with Anne while watching "DI Ray" re our trip to Hamburg back in 2019, I read through our time there and, this morning, looking at all the CDs I bought on the trip, I picked one with which to start the day...

After that, I'd received an e-mail yesterday advising a new LP on Bandcamp from asylumpeace, Christopher Andreas, with whom I discussed a possible collaboration back in January 2017...

It resulted in one of my favourite ambient pieces, "Tigris Birds and Radio" which is included on my 40 year retrospective release "Rubinmusik 1977-2017" on Bandcamp...

So, anyway, suffice to say, the new asylumpeace has joined the collection...

Anyway, scenes...

Work done and thigs pondered - no longer sure the specially remixed and separated out version of the "Live Suite" is the best way to release it...

Updated this...

Then, breakfast with Anne...

Our neighbour Susie, advised recently that she has been feeding a wee squirrel - which may explain the boldness of this wee beastie once again at the kitchen window, looking to share my toast no doubt...

Out to Loanhead for a goodly amount of time sorting out "stuff" with sister Sheila...

How can one old lady have so many towels and bed linen?

Wait!  I did not notice those doll's legs?

Instructions to my mum and dad from sister Pam when she left home in 1982...

Sorting out old photos, I found this very rare one - of my dad actually doing some work (outside of his actual work)...

Late afternoon to Ikea for a salmon based lunch...

Then, home, with a box of stuff.  I am permanently under orders from Anne "Don't being any shit back to the house"...

Hmmm...

Here's what I brought today - plus some unpictured puzzle books for her...

A brand new set of kitchen knives...

A wallet of Pam's photos from the summer of 1975...

Good times!

Erm, a magnifying glass...

Double erm...  a TV aerial splitter...

CD sleeves...

The cover only of The Tubes "Completion Backwards Principle" which, I think, adorned Pam's bedroom wall back in 1981...

Sheila's copy of The Osmonds' LP "Phase III"...

It rocks...

My mum also seems to have kept tons of old postcards - I brought home these which were sent to her and dad by me and Anne...

Amsterdam, December 1992, when my mum and dad were looking after our shop...

Nerja, New Year 1995/1996...

Paphos, New Year 1996/1997?

Lisbon, New Year 1997/98...

New York, April 1999...

...and this photo of Anne and Pam, taken at our house at some unknown point, possibly around 1998, as the wall behind them is in the throes of being decorated...

This evening, Anne was out watching Kilmarnock come from behind to beat Hearts 2-1 at Tynecastle...

There was a prospect of me playing fives - there was a prospect of me meeting up with "cousin" Robert (a lifelong Killie fan but who only goes to home games) - but, in the end, there was work to be done re mum's stuff...

Pre Anne's late on return, a couple of episodes of new to me thing "Continuum" - time travel ahoy - and, therefore, a solo watch...

There are 4 seasons for me to get through...

On her return, Anne eschewed the opportunity to watch the footie highlights...

Anne dubbed her beloved Hearts' performance "Absolutely embarrassing"...

Just as well it's only a game...

Also tonight, listened to a few tracks from Week 43 of 2014, ten years ago this week, and worked out how to send a message to my so-called followers on Mixcloud, 1,600 of them (my usual listening figures are under 20) to ask them, for the love of God, to unfollow me if they never listen...

Because, you know, what's the point?

Lights out with an old 2024 podcast in the cans...

Highlight of the Day : Rummaging...
