OK, let's get to it...
Friday...
...so, you know, downloading stuff I may well never listen to...
Later this morning, out to my mum's to meet with sister Sheila...
Some throwing away of stuff...
...and organising of other stuff...
This is what happens...
Home for lunch and a quick turnaround...
Out with Anne...
Down the hill and into town on the bus...
To the National Gallery...
...for a talk and introduction to the work of Everlyn Nicodemus, from the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro, via Sweden, to Edinburgh for the last couple of decades and only reasonably recently having become active again with her art, specialising in the subject of Black Africa and of Women in general...
Although not too taken with her art, I did find what she had to say very interesting...
Of course, having risen just after 5, there were a couple of "nodding off" scenarios but the Exec Producer executively produced me back into the moment...
Post thing, coffees...
...and a very quick visit to the gallery...
...before the bus home for tea...
The updated flyer for the performance in Whitby has arrived...
Anniversary cider from Jane was enjoyed...
...as was anniversary wine by Anne...
...as she cooked...
...the best Spaghetti Bolognese in the world...
Late on, a message from chum Luke "are you up to anything tomorrow?"
And so, taking the bag on the right, I will be off to that Newcastle to see the Newcastle United football team play Brighton & Hove Albion...
To bed...
Highlight of the Day : Artiness...
Today's New Music:-
