Up at 5:57...

You wouldn't know it though...

Start of another week...

After spending the majority of the last three days working on the prep of stuff for Whitby, time now spent sorting out the final running order of the 35 individual CDs I will take to the Merch table...

With over 40 hours of music across them, with no tracks duplicated...

Hmmm - it's almost like a 35 CD box set (for around £400)...

Post breakfast, out and over with Anne to Craigleith re shopping and to check up on conflicting correspondence with regard to protection of the laptop...

Conflict sorted and shopping achieved...

Home...

Clearing out one my OneDrives - 5GB of copies screenshots...

Hmmm...

Working on stuff for the Whitby thing...

The CD packages...

Much to do...

Also, work re my mum re an old policy found amongst her papers...

A break for lunch....

Two episodes of new thing "DI Ray" - Anne insists I've seen this before - I have vague memories...

More CD package work in the afternoon - creating the "cover"/tracklist thing for the packages...

Starting to come together - much painting of covers and cards still to do - plus, of course, actually burning all the CDs...

With Anne off to Pilates, time to record, on time, according to the new regime, this week's podcast, out tomorrow...

From now I'm hoping to record on a Monday while Anne's at Pilates - meaning I will have the full week, Monday to Sunday, of music to sort through to create the playlist...

Not that anyone's interested on course...

Tasty macaroni for tea - "Mastermind" - Anne was convinced one of the contestants was previously seen on "University Challenge" - could be - his general knowledge lets him down and he loses out on the tie break...

Headphones on for "Only Connect" - listening back to the podcast - just as well - forgot to edit out my coughing fit 80 minutes in...

"University Challenge" - "only" 110 this week as Edinburgh beat Leeds...

One starter question asked about the art movement covered in a book by Hans Richter with the subtitle "Art and Anti-Art"...

I did not answer but looked at the shelf on my left, and there it was, taunting me - shoulda been 120...

Back upstairs and a Tweet of someone buying an Allan Holdsworth CD from a charity shop with two extra tracks, got me looking into matters - I had those tracks...

But I found a completely new to me recording and, while looking at reviews on Amazon, found a list someone had made of his "acoustic period"...

So, of course, I had to create this as a new collection, involving solo tracks and works with Soft Machine, Gong, Gordon Beck and UK....

...and one of the two tracks on the newly discovered thing...

This is how I waste my time...

Work late on re Capital Gains Tax...

So annoying...

Anyway, to bed with my LP "Auden" in the cans - really like that one...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day: Progress with the CD packages...
