Crispycat Recordings released the first 25 Cloudland Blue Quartet albums (recorded between 1996 and 2012) to Bandcamp in 2013.

A further 8 LPs were released between 2013 and 2019.

Then, with the advent of lockdown, David spent much more time on new Cloudland Blue Quartet works, with the result that, since May 2020, new music has been released almost every month, with some 60 releases having been issued over the last four and a half years.

At present, there are 14 further releases in the pipeline (see below) which will take matters through to August 2025.

This will take the total of Cloudland Blue Quartet releases available on Bandcamp to beyond 100.

Retrospective releases by David's groups Creek and Capital Models have also been issued over the years and these are set to continue with around 50 in the works all told, the first of which are due out on 4 October 2024...

Glamming it up...

Playlist
Cloudland Blue Quartet - 2024-10-15 Demos
Cloudland Blue Quartet - GLAM! III (Demos)
Miles Davis - Olympia, Paris, Oct. 11th, 1960
Cloudland Blue Quartet - Variations of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon"
Cloudland Blue Quartet - GLAM! IV (Demos)

Slept in - after being awake at 4am...

Post breakfast, Anne off to Zumba, me quickly mixing the remaining 19 tracks from yesterday...

Then to work on exactly what will constitute "GLAM! III"...

Confusion over exactly when we will have our broadband updated but I'm sure it'll all work out in the end...

Late Afternoon, delivery of bags re Whitby, pens re Whitby and replacement Apple charging leads...

Looking back at this day over the years, took me back to Jorg and Ansem's visit in 2016 and, on this day that year, while Ansem bought his first LP (ZZ Top "Eliminator"), I bought Miles Davis live in Paris in 1960, to which I gave a wee spin...

Both purchases made at Record Shak - much missed, as is of course owner, Dave Gass...

Twitter/BlueSky conversations this evening, post a tasty salmon and veg tea, led to the listening to of this, released last October...

Better than I'd recalled...

Later on, our viewing of "Breeders" came to an end and has, indeed, left another hole...

Then to compiling "GLAM! FOUR" which won't be released until 2026...

To bed at midnight but could not sleep - listened back to "GLAM! III" final songlist (still to be ordered)...

Eventually to sleep around 2:30 or so...

Highlight of the Day : Working on GLAM!...

Up just before seven and working on this...

...while listening to my re-recordings collection from 2021...

Then, with yesterday done, looking through all our anniversaries from 2005-2024...

Just as well I do this diary or we'd have forgotten it all...

Some downloading of Telex and reggae spotted yesterday in Fopp plus a few new things from Blue Note, following on from yesterday's ECM haul...

Then, breakfast...

Then, recording quick vocal performances for 13 of the 26 selected possible covers for "GLAM! III" of which I've not got demos yet...

Out and down the hill for a bus into town for our anniversary lunch at La p'tite folie...

Ready...

Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon...

Bread...

Goats' cheese salad...

Mussels...

All watched over by Brigit Bardot...

We both went for the Duck Confit...

Creme Brulée...

Anne's fave...

Steeky Toffeee Pudeeng...

Rounded off with coffees...

Top notch...

Exited under the watchful smile of Francoise Hardy...

Through Charlotte Square and a leisurely walk along George St...

A new chain for Anne and some hand made Khadi cotton rag for me, re artwork to add to the Live Suite packages for Whitby...

The art shop has an attractive interior...

A bus home...

...and down the hill...

The second 13 of the 26 songs sung, plus two from this morning that didn't record were re-sung...

And so, another 2 hours or so of demos will join the fray soon - as these have to be mixed...

Managed seven this evening, before spending the rest of the night watching "Breeders" - eight episodes in all enjoyed - we are now well into Season 3...

Another hole beckons...

To bed with the seven mixed demos on the cans...

Highlight of the Day : Out for a special lunch...
