Awoken at 4 by a call from mum's personal alarm people - she'd called them...

I phoned her, she was ok.  Just didn't like being in the house all on her own.  Said she'd been "a wee bit confused like the other day" (which was good that she realised rather than actually being confused!)... 

I said it was 4am and she should just go back to sleep.  She said she would, now that she'd spoken to someone...

Sister Sheila was "on call" today - I said we could maybe put the "touch lamp" from her upstairs bedside table, onto her table by her "now" bed at night, so she can put that on if she wakes up and, that we say to her that, if she can't sleep, to just put the telly on - she watches it these days with the sound down...

Of course now I couldn't sleep...

Snoozed and then up...

Final cat routine of Luna's stay...

Coffee...

...and work - Luna helped by looking out the window...

..and by waiting patiently for Anne to get up...

We will miss this wee face...

Out to Specsavers to have my computer specs slightly adjusted and for Anne to pick up a splendid new polo neck from M&S...

Then to the roof of Waitrose...

A ciabatta bought to do lunch back home and then a walk up to Patisserie Florentin for coffees and pains au raisin...

Bought a cheeky wee 3CD set of Moroccan music on the walk back to the car...

Meanwhile, Luna waited for Gillian to arrive and take her home...

She does like a chew of a plastic bag - any plastic bag...

Not sure she wanted to go home...

The ciabatta lunch was tops and accompanied by a "Sister Boniface" mystery...

All too soon, Luna was away home...

Booo...

Plugged my phone into the back room hifi and enjoyed some new to me music...

Pilates for Anne and listening to my "Sparklemusik" LP from 2021, lamenting the lack of attention it's received over the last 3.5 years when it's so good...

Oh well...

Baked Potatoes for tea and 110 on "University Challenge, post "Mastermind"...

Prepping for tomorrow's trip...

Will try and keep entries here going but unpublished while I'm away, to alleviate the horrendous catch up scenario - which prevailed post Berlin and stopped a lot from happening...

Fell asleep (re the early rise) to a programme on the genius of Mozart...
