Up just before 4 - heading home today and hoping for a smooth time of it...

BlueSky advised I was well within the first 10% of users.  Whoopee do...

Had been awake for most of the night - at one point noting a star outside the window, which I failed miserably to capture...

Out...

...and over the road, in good time for the night bus up to Cibeles...

Hmmm...

And so, a taxi to Cibeles...

..and onto the airport nightbus in good time...

Through Security and passport control and the train along to from where our plane would depart...

Breakfast... 

Coffees, juices, pastries from here...

To the gate...

Boarding at 7:50...

Take off at 8:40...

An uneventful flight...

We were up the back with a group of Chilean Schoolboy Rugby players who were very well behaved indeed, considering they were schoolboy rugby players...

Coming into land...

...at 11, Spanish time, 10 Scottish time...

An hour later, home - 8 hours, door to door...

And the start of sorting everything out - for which the onesie was brought back out...

Back at base...
