Up super-early yet again...

Was set to visit my mum post band rehearsal but a call from her carers meant I had to head there around 9...

This, the front of her right leg, is deemed "ok"...

...but this sore on the back of the same leg needs attention...

Mum advised she would probably be ok...

I took the opportunity to compile today's shopping list...

...and noted a "new" (actually old) kettle on the work top...

...with the previously used one in the cupboard - apparently faulty...

Hmmm...

Anyway, ensuring she was ok re the leg, I set off for our first of a couple of "quartet" rehearsals with the band - keyboardist Paul cannot make the next gig on 5 October so has stepped back for now...

It all went very well and we have no worries about performing in this "new" format...

In all, 41 songs played...

Then, to the shops, then, back to my mum's...

She has no way of knowing what supplies are in her kitchen and questioned the lack of soup purchases - until I showed her this pic of her current soup supply...

The most she eats is half a can a day...

While I was there, the carers arrived for her "teatime" visit (actually around 4:15pm)...

They had an out of hours number for the district nurses and I was able to ensure one would call by tonight and dress mum's leg...

Result...

Home and, post an unpictured macaroni tea, editing today's session and uploading the MP3s for the boys...

Started at 8, finished at 9:10 - 48 minutes removed from session 1 and 20 from session 2, leaving around 2.5 hours of playing...

Very enjoyable indeed...

Noted a simple post on BlueSky by a chum, of a Genesis LP cover, had received almost 100 likes so, as an experiment, I uploaded a pic this fully signed cover...

Yeah, no...

Oh well...

Tonight was Luna's last in the house till the next time...

Around 11:30 or so, the weekend was deemed over...
