From now on I need to maintain the discipline to shut down last thing and open then restart first thing...

...and updating my home made "Roy Wood - Singles 1968-1976" collection to make it 1968-1979...

Done and onto the phone to soundtrack today...

Post breakfast over to my mum's...

Some further "tidying" was required before her new downstairs bed and "Sara Steady" were delivered...

None of this was touched but, if it turns out more furniture needs to go from her dining room, it will need to be...

The two end cupboards were emptied though, clothes instead of my dad's old books and tapes will soon be the order of the day...

Ready for the arrival...

..and here it came...

The two men, Keith and Roddy worked hard and fast...

...and soon, all was ready...

...instructions were imparted, and off they went...

More tidying ensued...

...and chucking out of old boxes for things which, in some cases, had already been chucked out...

Living room now ready...

Amazingly, after 3 months, my mum's Tivo box is not full - but it does have around a million episodes of "Heartbeat" on its hard drive...

Erstwhile dining room ready...

Hall ready...

Xmas cards in height order for easier perusal...

"Stuff" now in a cup...

I took a few things home...

They included a 12 disc CD holder, which I filled with albums originally released in 1970...

This afternoon, some compiling of this week's podcast...

And, with the advent of the 50th anniversary of my first ever concert this Thursday, listened to some Wizzard (for it was they)...

This album (along with the included on remastered CD A & B sides of the contemporaneous singles) is pure genius...

..and that genius is Roy Wood...

On telly tonight, the return of "Our Flag Means Death" and, from the same people, the new season of "What We Do in the Shadows" continued...

And, late on, I remembered one more bonus today, a new album from Goose, which accompanied me to bed...
