Up - what time is it?
Ah..
Listened to a couple of new things found last night, having firstly stumbled across an excellent record from John Etheridge, which I've had for a while but never really listened to...
That, in turn, led me to works by one Paul Dunmall...
Far out man...
Then to redoing the "country" mix of "The Dark Room" and got it sorted...
It's quite good...
As I finished this off, a call from sister Sheila that mum had called her to say she was on the floor in her house - in hindsight we should have known this wasn't true as how could she phone Sheila if she was on the floor?
Still, we both rushed there (my trip soundtracked by 1973 Eurovision winner, Anne-Marie David) to find her in her seat but confused - a la many times in the past where an infection had taken hold...
The carers arrived - today two much more experienced ladies - much better for mum...
Hospital At Home also arrived and advised that raised oxygen was the source of mum's confusion...
Once everyone had gone, we amended the set up, putting mum's bed into the living room and moving her seat back to the old place...
We also put all her drugs into a daily am/pm dispenser, which means I need to call her to prompt her to take medicines...
All unrequired stuff was tidied away...
- all in the hope this will free up carer time to concentrate on other essential elements of the care package until timings can be set realistically...
New set up...
Remaining paraphernalia...
Sheila left - me to Dunelm for towels - easily identified as for face or for bum, I hope anyway!
Finally home around 2:30 for some relaxation (and phonecalls to and from both mums)...
Worked my way through a few more of the 1970 CDs from my dad's ols CD holder (will do 1971 nect and so on)...
Graham Bond took me to the half way mark...
...and on I went...
..prior to a tasty vegetarian chili tea from Anne...
On telly tonight, the last of "Silent Witness" - a surprisingly good series all told...
Also the last two of "What We Did in the Shadows"...
Highlight of the Day : Getting home
