50 years ago tonight, I attended my first rock concert, Wizzard at the Edinburgh Odeon...

So, up early...

...and, much to my surprise, I found a rare film, on YouTube, of Wizzard, performing live, around 8 months later, on the Don Kirshner Show...

Great stuff...

Just enough time to update the setlist playlist Iput together with the band actually playing many of thr tracks live - sadly there are no recording's of their cover of SAHB's "Gang Bang", part of their set in Edinburgh...

Then, soundtracked by that, out to my mum's house as, today, she was due home from Bonnyrigg Hospital, 100 days since being taken to the Royal Infirmary...

Of course, things didn't go according to plan and she did not arrive, as planned, in the morning...

So there was a lot of hanging around...

Went for some milk, noting scenes from my childhood on the way...

Me and my chums used to play football against this wall...

Back home, working out dates on the calendar for me and sister Sheila to visit, taking account of our times away and working out too, when the opportunity ight arise for mum to go to The Guild or The Rural...

...using last year's calendar of dates for one of them...

Lunch at mum's from her freezer...

Reasonable...

And then, home for tea and a biscuit...

Enjoyed being able to use her landline again, here calling Anne at our house...

Carers arrived later and it has to be said it was all a bit chaotic...

Good to have her home though - even though she's technically still "in hospital" but "Hospital at Home", with daily visits from the nurses...

In the evening, some telly, some listening and bed...
