Up reasonably early/late...

This awaited for work today...

The new painting arrangement...

...remains in place...

Prepping for recording backing vocal ideas for a session on Sunday with vocalist Vassia for Capital Models re the proposed set for her wedding in the summer...

Midway through, a call from Prog Rock Willie - we will lunch next Wednesday with mutual chum and colleague, Bernardo - something to look forward to - and we may well attend Wishbone Ash in Kinross in March...

Discussing sound systems, I sent him this...

Then, to work re the wedding...

Firstly, compiling a set and sourcing band recordings over which I then sang some first take harmony in the main backing vocals...

And gave that a listen back...

Anne had been out at Zumba and coffee and cake with Lynn...

On her return soup was made...

It was enjoyed for lunch...

Then with Anne off our again to take her mum to the hairdresser's, I returned to the machines and recorded a Cloudland Blue Quartet version of the "Wedding Set" singing along to the backing tracks sourced over the last couple of weeks from the net...

Finished and enjoying the playback downstairs when Anne arrived home...

Salmon based tea enjoyed, then, 2 episodes of "The Black List"...

Then, listening to tracks from new LPs brought into the collection today and the new CBQ set - which includes three "new" songs for which I did not previously have the backing...

Then, writing this up...

Not sure if I've mentioned "Our Flag Means Death" - the pirate thing that we've been enjoying for the last eight weeks? Well the latest episode was enjoyed tonight...

That was it...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Recording...
