Could...

Not...

Sleep...

So...

Hmmm...

Listening back to all the recording I've been doing...

Later on this morning, when I googled "Cloudland Blue Bandcamp", the first thing that came up was an offer from Bandcamp to report one of the songs for possible copyright infringement, or, indeed, my whole site - so I took the Bacharach EP down…

Not to worry…

If you didn't get to hear it but would like to, contact me and I'll get a download bundle of 8 WAVs, 8 MP3s, the cover and the release notes to you via a link...

Can't say fairer than that...

Following that disappointment, to work on a new idea, using piano tracks and the poetry of W H Auden re two books bought a while back with just such a thing in mind...

A new piece, with synth and rhythm track also included, created...

"Voltaire at Ferney" is the title, for now anyway...

Out to my mum's with Anne...

New pic for a new Blue Badge...

...and shopping undertaken - including leaving her two bottles of milk on the shelf after scanning them (and, so, also paying for them)...

Idiot...

Sister Sheila and brother in law Andrew were also there when we got back from the shops...

Home - and Anne's art station re-set up again...

...and lovely Spaghetti Bolognese for tea...

Late on, with 1974 being looked at re the top 5 LPs, over the next fortnight, some discussion re the release date for Eno's classic, "Here Come the Warm Jets"...

For a long time, until probably just a couple of years ago, I'd thought it was released in 1973 - indeed the original LP cover and the first issue of the LP on CD both have "(p)1973" printed on them...

However, it turns out, following recording in September 1973 and planned release pre the end of the year, the release was delayed by the oil crisis of 73/74, despite printing, complete with the (p)1973 note, already having been been undertaken...

And so, it's in the running this fortnight...

This is how I waste my time...

Some "Black List" and other stuff on telly also enjoyed before the end of the weekend...

Highlight of the Day : New song...

Today's new music:-
