Up late and tested re Covid...

Surprisingly, given how I've been feeling since coming home from Seville, negative...

Given the negativity, today's band rehearsal was given the go ahead...

Some sorting out of the lyric/music folder and loading the car and off out to Roslin for around 10:30...

An unpictured Vassia Bouchagiar joined us today re adding vocals - she is a friend of drummer John and we are playing at her wedding in the summer.  The hope is she will perform a few songs with us at the wedding and today was the start of moving towards that...

The first half of the rehearsal lasted just over 100 minutes, much of which was spent learning/working out new songs and changing keys on old songs to fit Vassia's range - the result was 18 minutes of music over just five songs...

The second half lasted around 85 minutes, which produced 34 minutes of music over a further nine songs...

In all, we added five new songs to the repertoire and played one which this line up has never done (last played 2014)...

An enjoyable session...

A quick visit to my mum on the way back (given the presence of Covid in our house) - sister Sheila was there and was given a birthday card re next Friday...

Back home and working on editing the just over 3 hours of recordings to just under one hour of music...

The heart warming film "Bank of Dave", which Anne had watched while I was out, was watched while she now shopped...
