A day off...
...from this...
Although I did do some compression work on yesterday's vocal recordings, on the advice of Edward Spark...
The results were not entirely successful but it's a start...
For most of the day though, I was looking at the music of 1974...
In the actual period, these were the only 1974 releases I acquired (according to my diary)...
However, a wee game I like to play when looking at these years for the Twitter, is asking, had I had unlimited cash but only been allowed to buy LPs that entered the charts for the first time in 1974, what would I have bought...
Here's the list...
...and the LPs in question...
The first 7 were released pre 1974 but made their first chart appearance in '74...
By close of play, I'd compiled a huge list of nominations, 232 in all...
Here they are (for posterity)...
Of course, quite a few of them only entered the collection today...
This is how a whole day can easily disappear...
Oh, this and also sorting out alarm and insurance issues...
More "The Black List" at lunch time and in the evening...
Highlight of the Day : Researching 1974...
Today's new music:-
