Up early...
Yesterday, I forgot to hone 1966 to 75. Mind you, not a single Tweet asking “Hey! Dave! Where’s your 75”…
So, you know. Who cares really…
But here they are...
Saturday 8am! Eclectic Selection Podcast 2022 Vol 12 was "Out Now!"...
My 7 latest LPs of the day, rock/prog, pop/covers/singer/songwriter, reggae/dub, soul/funk, ambient/electronic/leftfield/experimental, jazz/classical and CBQ. Music for open musical minds...
And I was adding back albums - the LPs were flowing back onto the phone for mobile listening....
My "albums of the month" for each month I've been alive, my old 1,200 strong LP collection (reconstituted), the 300 or so LPs I still have (digital), etc etc - it's all good...
But it takes time...
Anyway...
Did some reading about the art career of Yello's Dieter Meier...
At 10 or so, Keith arrived to work on backing vocal scenarios...
We worked on 11 songs - as well as "Boys Keep Swinging"...
At 12:30 we called it a day and Keith very kindly gave us a lift down to South Queensferry, where we spent the afternoon and early evening with old chums Ali and John of Impossible Songs...
We started off with some nibbles, Prosecco and champagne in the back garden...
...before heading indoors for a tour of the new house, followed by a long leisurely lunch...
The food was very good indeed...
The cats were very good indeed...
The views were very good indeed...
Impossible Songs in their kitchen...
Erm, fridge door content...
Dali-esque clock..
Cheese and biscuits...
...and more drinks...
A top time was had....
The drinks seemed to have a detrimental effect on the attempted recording of the post sundown views...
A bus was secured to a point around 30 minutes' walk from home...
We spotted this wee cat on the way...
Finally, home around 10:15...
A good Saturday indeed!
Highlight of the Day : A visit to John and Ali...

Hi, it was great having you both round and thanks for "recording" the day's events. Great pics and comments. Sorry to hear about your Covid experiences too, never rains etc. Hopefully our (highly qualified) social secretaries will sort out another get together soon.
Hi John Such an enjoyable day indeed - I'm hoping we can get together again soon!
