Up, no podcasting to be done, other than uploading it, which I did later...

Paul McCartney's LP is not that great but was ok...

I preferred the Chicago-esque Heaven album, "Brass Rock 1" (there was actually only ever one) from 1971, which I downloaded post a tip off from a Twitter chum...

Brought the diary up to date (once again)...

Post breakfast, into the attic and removing the plastic sheet from over the window as it had burst and was disintegrating...

This the scene once removed..

This after we replaced it with some bits of the shelves from the backroom...

Not sure if it's good to have an upside down cross in your attic...

Anyway, out, taking Anne to her mum's for a visit and then, on to Meadowbank for a look round - nothing - and on again, to Portobello...

...where a wee pile was supplied by the BHF shop for a fiver...

Back over through the town again to Anne's mum's and a visit and some chat and then home with Anne...

She attempted to do something re our boiler but the positioning was too much for her (and, of course, would have been for me too, had I not just been recording the event for posterity, having re-fixed the earlier fix of the window)...

Eventually, she was just lying on the floor...

Oh well...

She washed the car instead...

Meanwhile, I ripped the purchases...

This was worth it for the first 5 or 6 tracks...

My first Judas Priest record, ever...

It rocks...

For the second week in a row, some big band jazz, uh oh...

And 28 minutes of Nick Drake..

Along with that, some time spent bringing the news items on the www.crispycat.co.uk website up to date...

I still have three albums to add - long laborious tasks...

A noise from outside the window alerted me to a distressed squirrel...

I spotted Fang in the garden and let him in...

He was friendly, had some goodies and went to sleep on the sofa...

However, while the squirrels do not get inside, they also don't go weird at the drop of a hat after being fine for hours and threaten you and take chunks out of your Exec Producer's leg, before being summarily chased out of the house...

Mon the squirrels (although we love Fang too of course)...

Another Indian takeaway - we opted for the same as last time but no pakoras or nan bread (chapatis though) and boiled rice - we are so healthy...

"Superman & Lois" enjoyed...

As was "Space Force" - already at episode 5 of Season 2, without it having been mentioned here...

Highlights from Dundee Utd v Hearts - Hearts scraped a 2-2 draw, hindered somewhat by having had five players substituted re injury and a sixth hobbling off towards the end...

Meanwhile, in Dumfries, the Queens resurgence continued with their third clean sheet in a row in the league (4th all told counting the cup tie the other night) as they beat Morton 3-0 and moved off the bottom of the table...

We were so enthused, we've arranged to go to Partick Thistle on Tuesday night with Olly...

We may jinx matters of course...

Later on, the 4th series of "Killing Eve" commenced...

Incomprehensible...

And that was, unlike "Picard" last night, with an, albeit superquick, "previously on" intro...

Oh well...

Some It Bites while watching the English footie and then bed...

Vlad McMad still mad...

Highlight of the Day : Queens winning...
