Friday...

This is still working nicely..

...as are these...

...and this...

This stopped working ages ago but I set it to the time at which I've arisen, to record said time in pics on here...

Friday morning is time to obtain new releases...

Today it was Terry Riley and Bang on a Can, Aldous Harding, Cowboy Junkies, Von Hertzen Brothers, Animals as Leaders, Destroyer, Fucked Up, Black Midi and Tate McRae...

Ready for action...

Podcast posted up but not announced till tomorrow...

Once again good skies which I would not enjoy outside due to WFH...

Things are set up for a visit from bassist Keith tomorrow to work on backing vocals...

1966 was honed to 75...

Tonight, "Picard" continued nicely an, probably, other stuff was watched...

But I don't recall...

And how did I come to learn how to play Bowie's "Boys Keep Swinging"?

Well, I was listening to reggae and came a cross a couple of big compilations downloaded last year, for which I hadn't added the artists - as I did so, I decided to check other artistless albums and there was a Bowie covers album...

I like Carla Bruni's rendition of "Absolute Beginners" and looked up the chords and lyrics and gave it a try but abandoned it - then I moved through a few others, "Space Oddity", "Let's Dance", "China Girl" and, finally, "Boys Keep Swinging"...

Before the night was out, I had a rough recording done and lyric and chord sheet done...

Time well spent...

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : Boys keep swinging...
