Up, not that early...
...and to compiling the music that will be assessed over the next fortnight to determine my top 5 LPS of.....2011
Over 335 LPs in my iTunes are tagged with that year...
They were whittled to just under 150 or so studio albums (I do not nominate live LPs)...
Then, a trawl through the Albums of the Year website, regarding releases in each month of the year in question...
This lead me to find another 10 or so from my collection which had not had the release year tagged...
And around another 20 or so interesting LPs, or LPs I issued at the time by peopel I like which, for some reason I missed, which were lined up to be downloaded...
Meanwhile, it was frosty...
Also today, of course, I recreated the setlist for last night's Tangerine Dream performance - and I downloaded the free 3 track "Tour EP", using the instructions on the flyer licked up at the merch table...
The pre gig chat had referenced headphones...
After a day of WFH - apart from the final two episodes of "Space Force" at lunchtime, this evening Anne, after a busy day mostly looking after her mum re doctor's appointments and tests and shopping, was out at Pilates with Lynn...
Anne had also made (unpictured and very tasty) soup, so no need for me to bake the baked potatoes tonight - that will be Wednesday now...
Telly in the evening on her return (accompanied by soup and toast) comprised "Mastermind" and "University Challenge" - Crispycat University scored 75 - very low but the teams on the telly scored 80 and 85 so, you know, a tough set of questions all round perhaps...
Also tonight, another enjoyable "Shakespeare & Hathaway" from the first series...
Then, I finished off the downloading and adding of, it turned out, 18 new records from 2011 and posted up my initial 175(!!) nominations for my top 5...
