Up at 6...

Good skies...

Out and down the hill...

Today, WFO...

And my exit confirmed for end June...

Counting today, 82 days to go...

But that's then less 26 days' holiday still to be taken...

So, just 56 days until I am truly a musician and artist...

Scary...

Home and Fang popped by for...

Dreamies...

Down the hill again late afternoon for a bus the other way...

...to that Glasgow...

Subway to Byre's Road and a meet up with nephew Olly...

Tea was our first ever Nando's - where Olly has worked for a few years now while at University...

With his staff discount and loyalty points, our bill was as good as halved...

The beer was good...

The food was tasty...

The troops were happy...

A walk in the dark...

...to the field of dreams that is...

Firhill...

We were here for tonight's game between 3rd placed Partick Thistle and our very own, ninth placed, Queen of the South...

Partick's mascot was designed by Ed Shrigley...

Songs were sung about it by the travelling Queens fans...

As the teams came out, a horrendous rain and wind scenario commenced...

Rattles were spun and rattled...

Queens Park currently also play here and so the pitch is less than ideal for skillful football...

The storm continued...

Queens were on top for most of the first half but could not get a goal...

We were in the "old" stand...

The quality of its finish was noted at half time...

Back in...

Looking forward to the second half...

Nerve wracking...

The weather cleared, two subs for Thistle at half time changed their game and they were now in the ascendance...

A shocking decision re a stonewall corner to Queens being given as a goal kick, led Partick up the park where a penalty was then conceded with just 7 minutes to go...

Such is football...

And so, a defeat - clean sheet run stopped, unbeaten run stopped...

I would have taken 0-0...

But, onwards....

A walk back to the Subway, underground to the bus station and an hour long journey to the walk up the hill...

Back home after almost 8 hours...

An enjoyable day, despite the defeat...

Highlight of the Day : Setting my exit...
