Cloudland Blue Quartet - Sparklemusik

Friday...

At last...

Enjoyed a lot of Allan Holdsworth today...

...and, accompanied by coffee...

...slightly rejigged the podcast content to include Edward Spark, while the snow continued to linger...

Mid afternoon, the first CD of the year arrived - ordered in early December but it was released today...

I got the LP for Xmas and, prior to that had a download, and post that, also downloaded the WAV files and burned a CD-R...

So, perhaps a wee bit OTT?  But I enjoyed listening to the actual CD...

...but this necessitated more podcast rejigging...

This evening, post another long day of WFH, a superb Spag Bog from the EP...

...enjoyed with a cheeky wee glass of white, which continued into the recording of part 1 of the podcast...

...before a new thing on BBC 4 "The Investigation", a Danish thing (with many actors we recognised from previous Danish things) about the true story of a nutter with a home made submarine who murdered a journalist...

The first two episodes were very good indeed and especially enjoyed the music but it doesn't seem to be available anywhere...

It is by one of the violinists from The Danish Quartet, Rune Tonsgaard Sørensen - for which I will need to keep an eye out...

Back upstairs to do some more of the podcast, while Anne watched Graham Norton, which alerted her to a new thing "Call My Agent" a French series with four seasons (so far), featuring actors playing themselves, kind of, in each episode...

So we will try that out tomorrow...

Also today, a great big box set of music from the time of Pieter Breugel was downloaded - trying to add it to iTunes though was a total pain...

Something needs to be done...

But that's for another day..

Lights out...

Highlight of the Day : New Danish TV with top notch music....
