Happy kind of anniversary to us...

41 years ago today I started to be Executively Produced at a party at my then flat in St Mary's St, off the Royal Mile, after Capital Models played the Netherbow Theatre, their 3rd gig...

To celebrate, I was up early...

...and out into the dark...

...before Anne awoke...

...and I obtained some celebratory items...

Later, the beast was, as usual, in its slippers, WFH...

At lunchtime, a new thing started, "Superstore" (I think)...

Today's random LP of the day was Kraftwerk "Computerworld" (1981), the English language version of "Computerwelt"...

I didn't get this till long after having bought the original German LP on its release, so it sounds a bit strange and somehow not quite as good (although still good)...

This evening, having repaired with sellotape the prior to repair falling to pieces first Red Book of CDs acquired (1985 to 2012), although I have not bought any CDs in January (OK two are awaited - but that compares with almost 90 last January), December's acquisitions needed to be written up in book 2...

I am up to page 57 in book two - it holds the last 6 years' acquisitions...

By page 57 of book one, 14.5 years had been recorded...

My rate of acquisition in book two is therefore 2.42 times that in book one...

Anyway...

Then, post a salmon based tea, I perused my list of last January's acquisitions and dug out this 12 month old item for some out there classical stuff,...

Dennehy, Collins and Ficarra particularly impressed...

Downstairs for this week's Holby City...

After which, some "work" upstairs re old LPs I used to own...

While Anne painted...

Coming along nicely...

Newsnight and bed...

Last day of an absolutely shocking 4 years...

Highlight of the Day : A new dawn tomorrow...
