Up at 6:30 and trying to maintain the up to datedness of this (although a few days of last September's German trip remain unwritten)...

Still dark...

..and blurry...

..and dark...

1st record of the day - the pristine sound of the digital version of yesterday's random LP of the day...

Downstairs, Anne's new painting has been progressed...

...and Blue Tits were breakfasting...

...as were we...

Then, the Random LP of the Day was this from 1986, purchased on its release on a trip to Kassel...

Berlin and, indeed, Germany's top punk pop band, Die Ärzte...

So much enjoyed that I decided to fill in some spaces in the collection by downloading the three missing studio LPs by them, along with a couple of best ofs and a couple of mammoth live records...

I dipped into those later on...

In the meantime, listening to yesterday's acquisitions from Half Moon Run, of whom I was reminded by an article re her last live gig by an American writer who would like to interview me..

Hmmm, let's see...

And new to me "modern composer" William Ryan Fritch - very nice - then, the big purple Tangerine Dream box...

All while I WFH'd...

A flying visit from Jane and Olly, the former taking the latter back through to his digs in Glasgow...

At lunchtime, (mushrooms with the veggie sausages today) episode 5 of the Dundee thing, "Traces"...

More work in the afternoon accompanied by Berlin music, in the form of Tangerine Dream and Die Ärzte..

An amazingly tasty prawn curry from Anne for tea...

...as we watched the first episode of "The Expanse" - which Anne dismissed as unfollowable...

Oh well...

Then a "The Good Place" followed by "Holby City", live, then, three more "The Good Place"s and ended the day with the concluding episode of "Traces" - on balance, a quite enjoyable thing...

That was it...

That was Tuesday...

To bed with a completely unrecalled podcast from 2018 (week 45, for the record)...

Highlight of the Day : Anne's curry...
