Ooh...

New shoes...

...and they were used in an early morning Monday walk...

...to the Tram Station...

...and into town...

...and again at lunchtime...

And, funnily enough, on the way home...

A visit from nephew Ali was postponed until tomorrow - when he will be accompanied by fiance Julie and new to us wee boxer dog, Beau (aka BumBum)...

Elsewhere, mum diagnosed with Labyrinthitis - more pills on top of the myriad pills she already takes - this following dizzy spells yesterday morning and again today...

Spoke with her and she seems to be fine despite this - and advises she should be back to what is classed as "normal" for her, in around 48 hours...

This evening, some TV was watched - between us, we scored around 135 on "University Challenge" - a very exciting contest, neck and neck all the way, with Edinburgh finally defeating the Open University on a tie break question...

Also enjoyed were Rich Hall's very entertaining insights into the vagaries of US Presidential Elections and Presidents...

It'll all be over tomorrow...

Meanwhile, this arrived...

Some tuneless piano music which was very much enjoyed and which led me to purchase a clutch of further discs on the same label at very reasonable prices...

In searching for said previously completely unheard of and now winging their way towards me titles, I was also tempted to download nearly three hours of music by also previously completely unheard of trumpeter Manuel Mengis and his various bands - Le Pot, Hincsuntleones and Gruppe 6 being just three of those sampled...

This is how new music sometimes makes its way into the collection...

I say "sometimes" - what I mean is "often"...

Lights out with strange sounds in my lugs...

Highlight of the Day : New shoes, new music...
