Another clear cold morning...

Another walk to Fopp at lunchtime and another Riverside 3LPs in one for a fiver partaken of...

In the evening down to Keith and Maureen's for tea prior to a quiz night at the local bowling club...

Before that though, news that Keith is going over to the dark side and whittling his CD collection down to a more manageable size, given the propensity chez K&M for music listening now to be via streaming services...

Keith gifted me a rare 10CD box set of Albert Ayler and invited me to take anything out the black bags of about to be dumped discs that took my fancy...

An offer I could not refuse...

Tasty casserole and off to the club for a night of fun, with Abby and Blair and Rod and Ishbell...

Here your correspondent makes the classic selfie error of looking at the phone image rather than the lens...

Suffice to say, although we both came close, neither of our teams, Chameleons or Cornelians, won the night, losing out to the Friday Floozies - one of whom insisted the green and yellow wire in a domestic plug could be called either Earth or Neutral - til we called up a diagram to prove they should lose the point (yes I am that petty)...

"They must have changed it" was the incredulous response...

It's only a game of course...

Home after midnight with a great big bag of new music, only to find this behind the  door too...

More difficult listening from the hat label..

To bed with Frank Zappa in New York...

Highlight of the Day : Keith's generosity...
