A day soundtracked, in the main, by string quartets...

This included my home-compiled 14CD history of the genre...

All in all, I sampled Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Brahms, Shostakovitch and Cage...

A lovely day...

A walk at lunchtime...

The beast was about its business I...

In the early evening, a meet up with the Exec Producer...

She'd had had the excellent idea of visiting "Botanic Lights", the night installation currently on show at the Botanical Gardens...

Here are a few pics - best of a huge bunch...

We were invited to explore...

This, a projection on jets of water - clever...

More lights on water - Anne's fave of the evening...

Marshmallows for the kids - of which there were plenty - kids I mean...

Wish ribbons...

The EP I...

Luminous strings...

Lit up hedges...

The EP II...

The beast was about its business II...

The EP III...

This was the best exhibit for me - house projection...

The final descent to the exit...

The city in the distance...

Given our proximity to one of our fave Chinese Takeaway establishments, the New Happy Palace, provisions were obtained and whisked home...

"Mr Khan" was rubbish really, "Have I Got News For You" was good and "Still Game" up to the standards...

Then, some listening to stuff on Jorg's hard drive, with a few judicious choices making their way into iTunes...

Hit the sack with Hawkwind on the nutphones...

Highlight of the Day : Lights in the dark...
