Up around 6 and continuing with the refill project...

Then, what are these machines?

They are Helen the Podiatrists's stuff...

Saturday morning ladies, Helen and Susie...

Home for coffee then, to work...

More wardrobe destruction - this had been with us for over 30 years and was extremely well made...

It was soon reduced to so much firewood...

The latest podcast was uploaded while we worked...

Next, carpet lifting...

...and moving Crispycat central a little to the left...

As a consequence of stuff being removed from the small room, there was some work to be done in the back room as Anne headed off to Tynecastle to see Hearts steamroll Dumbarton 4-0 while Queens triumphed 2-1 over Raith in Dumfries...

My record collection these days comprises this - plus several boxes of 7" singles...

I probably have too many books and too many boxes of master recordings...

And, of course, to many CDs, records, tapes, guitars, machines - just music related stuff in general...

Progress was eventually made with much wood and some shelving going in to the attic - that's for another day...

I discovered I'd had my turntable plugged into my amp in what was not, as it turns out, the best way it could have been - after over 8 years...

Enjoyed spinning an old Alice Cooper album under the new regime as work continued...

In lieu of the purchase of some new shelves, books were put as out of sight as possible and Reptile Records' Amazon shop CD stock went upstairs too...

So, from this...

...to this...

...in around five and a half hours...

There is some stuff to go to the dump...

Out this evening for the family Xmas Meal - this wee bird serenaded us as we headed down the hill for the bus...

...to meet at Soba for a couple of drinks before walking round the corner to Iris...

The Exec Producer had a new dress on - looking good...

Tasty food...

...although Bobby ended up being less than impressed than the rest of us...

With Jane, Bob and Anne's mum heading into the night post meal, more drinks at the Queens Arms with Keith, Maureen, Craig and Arianne...

Here Craig tries to find survival stats for plane crashes...

A night enjoyed...

A fine looking young man...

Home by taxi around 12:30 am and a look again at the new room...

To bed...

Highlight of the Day : Tidying and night out...

Hi David, as I have the same turntable as you what was the erroneous connection to your turntable. Maybe I have the same set up and could do better. Cheers Barrie,

I had set to phono re the button underneath and was using the phono input on my amp but also has a line setting which allows you to plug in as aux or CD player radio etc etc. sounds much better

Cheers David, I think that is the setting I have it on as don't have phono input on amp.
