Weather Report - Epic Weather Report

A beautiful morning...

..and the beast was about its business, soundtracked by 40 year old Tubes tapes, under a low sun on Crispycat Hill...

Into town...

A trip to HMV at lunchtime, noting several Weather Report CDs for under two of your English pounds...

Back home, while I have all their albums on various hard drives, I checked and the one I just happen to be holding up here, "Mr Gone", is the only one of those available here, which I don't yet have, physically speaking...

There are seven other absentees...

I may partake - if I remember...

Meanwhile, this find, below the bench in a bus shelter on the way home, intrigued...

In the evening, lovely chilli from Anne, followed by some underlay lifting and rawl plug out of wall taking - tomorrow nephew Ali will fit a new radiator - matters are progressing....

"Big Bang"'s new series finally returned and was swiftly followed by "Brooklyn Nine Nine" and "Marry Me" before retiring upstairs for some listening...

A missing Tubes CD (the only missing one, truth be told) "Love Bomb" was ordered for under a fiver...

Some superb Allan Holdsworth was partaken of...

And a new thirteen track Weather Report playlist was compiled too - comprising the longest track from each of their studio albums...

A year ago tonight, what became two days later my final music session with Jamie and Andy...

Mr Gone indeed - just like yesterday - time does fly...

Ended the day, as usual, with Andrew Neil and "This Week"...

Highlight of the Day : Nice weather, nice Weather Report...
