Another mega playlist due to shuffle of the newly refilled jukebox...

Early this morning, a dump run re smashed up wardrobes...

On the way back, a visit to B&Q re potential radiators and some decorating related  purchases...

Back to the dump with more stuff, watched over by a plastic owl...

To Ikea re wardrobes...

...and on, to my mum's for Mothers' Day...

She liked the flowers...

While Anne and sister Sheila did some wallpaper stripping in the kitchen, I was off to Sainsbury's for mum's shopping...

...which she checked meticulously upon my return...

The ladies took a well earned rest

..and mum tuned in to their chat...

Back to work...

...for Anne and Sheila anyway...

...while I walked down to the local Chinese for a menu...

...noting trees that had once been small enough to act as goalposts...

Some pics of the back of mum's house - for no particular reason...

Back home and the "kids" arrived - Andy and Tori and grandnephew Kerr and Ali and Julie, seen here in pensive mode...

Meanwhile Senior entertained mum in the living room...

Post a very tasty and, as usual at mum's house, very probably too large, Chinese meal, Anne and I drove into town for tonight's Stewart Lee gig at the Festival Theatre...

Introduced by John Coltrane's rendition of "My Favourite Things" - Lee always subjects his audiences to reasonably far out jazz - in fact he used to be a regular Fringe time visitor to Reptile Records back in the day, searching for just such stuff...

A good, funny show, unfortunately, slightly spoiled by other members of the audience - but such is the nature of a live show in the 21st Century - unless it involves classical music...

Home around 11...

...and final clearance of the small room...

...meaning that Crispycat Central has been temporarily moved to the back room - kind of ruining the tidying session from yesterday but them's the breaks...

Finalised the iPod refill - now holding still less than half the number of tracks it did on Friday morning...

Lights out on yet another fun-filled weekend...

Highlight of the Day : Stewart Lee...
