A busy Saturday - hard to believe Jamie's now been gone for a year...

Up early and compiling songs for a possible return to live performance for CBQ after over three years - Jamie was in my thoughts as I listened to many songs we sang together over the years...

Another live date for CBQ?  Might happen, who knows?

This also entertained early on...

Jamie was not a fan of such tuneless tosh - or jazz...

Exclusive listens to new solo music from Creeker Craig were also enjoyed...

A first look through the programme for this year's Edinburgh International Festival resulted in an initial draft list of possible audienting which breached the twenty event mark...

Out at 9:30 to meet up with Dr Prog, who took three sets of speakers and two amps to a trade in store - and came a way with a different amp and a fiver...

While he seemed pleased with the deal, on the other end of the phone, Mrs Prog seemed slightly less enthusiastic...

Coffee at Brew Lab...

...a hipster's paradise it seems...

Good coffee and provisions though...

To the library - to take back the Errol Browne box seen earlier on the coffee table, after six weeks in the house and probably less than one full listen through for each of the three discs...

New borrowings comprised a 5CD box of Blood Sweat & Tears' first five LPs (good but not Chicago), a classical disc from last year by John Luther Adams (as opposed to just John Adams) and the deluxe 2CD edition of Great Lake Swimmers' last but one album...

Meanwhile, this is how a road needs to look for Dr Prog to take a chance re crossing without a Green Man in support...

I took him home to face the wrath of Mrs Prog but it turned out she was fine and had even bought Dr Prog some celebratory chocolate re the making of some space...

Home for some prep re the imminent arrival of Creeker Cobblers to record some keyboard sounds re the proposed new LP - our first for eleven years...

Meg the Black Cat seemed to be starring on the cat calendar today...

Stu arrived and we got down to work...

He'd even made some notes...

...which were, of course, referred to...

Five tracks "in the can" - quick work...

...but let's see what Creeker Craig makes of it all...

And we await input from Count Brodski...

Good chat and watching the footie results with wins for Hearts and Queens, 3-0 and 4-1 respectively...

Later on, some singing and guitar playing from Mr CBQ, re the newly compiled collection of songs...

Indian, 2 x "CSI", last night's "Musketeers" and off to bed...

Highlight of the Day : Creeking...
