Five Tubes concerts in San Francisco from the 70's...
From Rheostatics Live came a 2 hour live concert by Bidiniband from just over a month ago..
And, late on, whilst further perusing the various blogs I peruse, a note from The Bad Plus' Ethan Iverson alerted me to the fact that a new LP was released yesterday by a Welsh singer, Donna Lewis...
It features all three members of the Bad Plus and was produced by further fave, David Torn...
Ms Lewis has been recording since the 90s and has had top ten hits in the UK and the US but tonight was the first time I became aware of her....
Her LP is winging its way to Crispycat Towers as I type...
Sounds very good indeed...
Another good evening of discovery and entertainment....
A recording session with Creek's Mr Cobley set up for the weekend too...
What's not to like...
Lights out with Bidini on the cans and a soupçon of Creek and Lewis/Bad Plus anticipation...
