Another bright sunny day and this wee pigeon was hanging around on the way down the road...

All the way to Fopp at lunchtime having been advised yesterday by brother in law Keith of new jazz offers - but nothing enticed...

Soundtracekd today by the last six CBQ albums, recorded since my return to occasional live work in 2003...

Meanwhile, back home, awaited things had arrived...

A natty in-all-their-glory-moob-revealing promo T-Shirt (belly edited out)...

...and a lead enabling me to re-energise and explore sister Pam's MP4 player...

Tough times...

Correspondence today with the estate Agents in Hemel - a lack of action is prompting a revamp...

Nothing is easy when a loved one dies...

On TV tonight the first in Dominic Sandbrook's seties "The 70's" - I have his great big thick books of UK history "White Heat" and another but have not read them...

Reasonably enjoyable but a bit of a hotch potch, jumping around all over the place...

Annoyingly too, despite this episode being 1970-1972, much of the music played, although 70's, was from outwith that period - a glaring mistake in my book...

Liked his comparing of Arthur Scargill in 1970 to Margaret Thatcher in 1979 - irony at 10...

I will continue to watch, given this was the decade which formed your correspondent...

Highlight of the Day : 1970s despite misgivings...
