Dub in the car but not in the house...

Cloudland Blue Quartet – Track of the Day
“The Unfortunate” from “Erstazreal” (2007)

Playlist
Cloudland Blue Quartet - Soundingfall
Cloudland Blue Quartet - Splinterheart
Various - Trojan Presents Dub : 40 Deep and Heavy Hits
Various - Trojan Foundation Dub

Finding myself at a loose end at lunchtime, I had another wander around HMV and, in the not very often visited reggae section, found a couple of 2CD sets of dub on the Trojan label...

Snapped up for 10 squid - later seen on Amazon working out at a couple of quid cheaper - cheaper?  80 tracks - music is losing its value at an alarming rate...

Once again, on the way home, the sun shone...

...and the reggae was enjoyed briefly at home before the Exec Producer executively produced it out of the CD player as we enjoyed a tweaked and improved (surely not possible) version of her new top dish, beef stroganoff...

I opined it has pushed the red thai chicken curry to number two in the imaginary culinary dishes-prepared-at-Crispycat-Towers charts...

Off tonight to Jamie's (listening to dub on the car stereo)...

...for our third and final rehearsal before Saturday's gig...

We have gone from 15 to 26 to 30 songs, “learning” five new ones and dropping one that wasn't working...

An enjoyable evening - it took us around three hours to get through all the songs...

Then, I worried as to whether the camera's self timer was going to work for this group shot...

It did...

Home just before midnight and off to bed...

Legs very sore from all the standing...

Highlight of the Day : Working with Jamie and Keith...
