Thinking about sister Pam all day today as this marks the end of her six weeks of concurrent radio/chemotherapy...

To date, very little in the way of side effects although she has had her hair fall out due to the radiotherapy...

Now, she has four weeks off before starting phase two, which will involve one week on, three weeks off of double the dose of chemo she has been receiving everyday since 7 March...

So that kind of puts everything into perspective really...

On the way home tonight I stayed on the bus slightly longer to allow a walk down by the new houses being built where once stood a college of further education in lush green, tree strewn grounds...

Front of the first ones thrown up...

..and their back gardens...

The next phase...

Diggers looming...

But we still have a thin green barrier...

...to the right of this path as you walk down to Crispycat Towers...

Not great but it could be a lot worse...

Back home, a very tasty tea courtesy M&S and the Exec Producer...

And yet another CD awaited my arrival - again from Mr Ives, his three "Orchestral Sets"...

In places, it's almost like sampling before sampling...

Sister Pam called just as I was about to pick up the phone and call her - spooky...

A good chat was had and her spirits remain high...

The rest of the evening was spent away from the computer for once, continuing with the "putting home burned CDs into plastic sleeves" project - it takes on average around a minute to do each one...

Still a long way to go...

"Have I got News For You", "QI", "Law & Order" and "The Graham Norton Show" entertained before we retired, me with Ives on the cans...

Highlight of the Day : Start of a break for Pam...
