A nice, leisurely breakfast with Anne, to the sound of a Robert Fripp compilation featuring some of his best ever solos...

Blossoms were blossoming today...

Another disc of American classical music from e-bay for £2 - three works by Ferde Grofé, including the "Grand Canyon Suite"...

A movement from this, "On the Trail", featured on one of the first records to play a part in my life - "A Children's Introduction to the Orchestra", which my dad used, as you might imagine, to introduce me to the instruments of the orchestra back in the mid 60's...

With Anne out at Zumba, I decided to work on the compilation but found something has gone wrong with the sound on some of the tracks...

The version I have on the jukebox is ok but it's only MP3s - oh dear - back to the drawing board or more probably onto the back burner methinks...

So I resurrected the "putting all the home-burned CDs in plastic sleeves" project...

...before cooking dinner...

...and enjoying same...

With "Masterchef" on the telly, I continued with the project...

Then made the final preps for the proposed exhibiting of Untitled Nos 10 and 11...

Elsewhere, Queens were thrashed 4-1 at home by Morton and so drop to fifth in the league...

Come on Queens...

Ended the day with some King Crimson related listening and reading...

Lights out just before 12...

Highlight of the Day : Allan Holdsworth in the cans...
