Awoke with the sounds of Van Der Graaf Generator and Peter Hammill - it's taken me until now to realise how excellent this music has always been...

Brought matters up to date...

I've probably been buying too many CDs - but each has cost less than the price of a pint of lager - so who is the real villain?  Is it the idiotic CD buyer, or is it the businessman in his suit and tie?

Meanwhile, Meg the Black Cat was enjoying the early morning garden - pre flowers opening to the sun..

Out for breakfast to Broughton Street and introducing Annie to Artisan Roast...

..where they take rather a lot of care in producing a small cup of coffee...

..but it's worth the wait...

Post coffee and croissants, a walk around the environs...

Then, home in the sunshine...

Annie went into the garden where she and Meg were met by neighbour Pietro and his wee dog, Rio...

I tied to get Meg to interact with him but all she did was hiss and run away...

Meanwhile, Anne's flowers were enjoying the April sunshine...

Even the interlopers were having fun in the sun...

Meanwhile, your correspondent was ensconced in a dark room downloading and enjoying the first Chicago album and some Fado from one of the featured singers on yesterday's Huelgas Ensemble disc...

I also discovered a couple of sites which may come in useful for the next CBQ album...

Later, back into the sun to pick up this evening's nourishment...

...after which "Spiderman" was enjoyed...

Then, the updating this and the watching of some footie rounded off the weekend...

Highlight of the Day : Lovely coffee...
