Punctured...

Playlist
Icehouse - Singles
Mozart – Haydn String Quartets
Sumner McKane – Closing the Circle
Sumner McKane – Night Blooming Cereous

Continued listening to Icehouse following last night’s unreported compiling of a singles collection on the hard drive...

Following yesterday’s initial rehearsals, today, I continued to try different combinations of instrumentation, backing tracks and performance...

I worked on new acoustic backing tracks...

The postie brought two new albums by recently discovered favourite, Sumner McKane...

Beautiful stuff...

Post listening, around midday, soundtracked by Mozart, we drove to the cinema to see “Toy Story 3” – film technology these days is even more amazing than it was when the first in this series was issued...

We watched in 3D – the only downside being the inability to surreptitiously wipe away tears of sentimental sadness whilst wearing 3D glasses...

On a quest for cake and coffee post the film, we noticed the Cloudland Blue Mobile had suffered a flat tyre – driving to have it repaired unfortunately rendered it beyond repair and so £70 quid was grudgingly shelled out for a new one – with coffee and cake postponed...

Ouch...

Back home, more rehearsing followed by Scotland scraping an embarrassing 2-1 win at home to Liechtenstein, coming back from a goal behind to score the winner in the seventh minute of injury time with the very last kick (or header) of the ball...

Highlight of the Day : Toy Story 3/New Sumner McKane...
