A late bloomer in the garden this morning...
Much of the afternoon was spent "playing golf" - actually on a golf simulator...
Quite entertaining at first but the novelty soon wore off - especially as your correspondent cannot actually play golf...
I was one of only two players though to get a ball into the hole - the machine adds a stroke and finishes the hole automatically if you get within 10 ft of the target...
In the "closest to the pin from the tee with one shot" competition, I came fourth - a very respectable 25 ft - on the "longest drive" competition, I managed about half the distance of the winner...
On the way home, I was invited to a party, but declined...
Sunny skies overhead...
The Exec Producer and I enjoyed a chinese takeaway later on...
Much of the rest of the evening was spent surfing the net and watching videos of prog rock on Youtube when I really ought to have been working on something or other...

Ha ha yes - I imagine the opening gambit was "Hi honey, I'm afraid I've been held up at the office...."..
