...but a tasty 8:20 breakfast...
..our co-guests hailing from France and Switzerland...
After bidding farewell to our hostess, we drove back to Edinburgh non-stop through several torrential showers...
In the afternoon, we went to B&Q to get a new handle/lock thingy for the back gate, the current version having finally split in two, thanks to too many takeaway delivery men being unable to work out exactly how to shut a back gate properly using said handle thingy...
I also bought some (hopefully impressive) paper, re the hand made covers for the new LP...
As I sorted out the gate, Anne advised the TV had gone to TV heaven...
I suggested we could get one via the internet with a delivery date of Saturday...
However, four days without TV would have been a bit too much for the Exec Producer to take and so, after some quick research, mainly revolving around price I must say, we were off to Comet to procure a new 32" screen...
Meg the Black Cat was very interested in matters - as she is in any box which enters her domain...
While at Comet, I took the opportunity to upgrade the main PC screen from 17" to 22"...
Tasty...
And so, a Tuesday which felt very much like a Sunday, involved the acquisition of some new stuff, some of which was actually necessary but I'll leave you to work that out...
Highlight of the day : Home to the inquisitive wee pie...
